.. as Lawal, Oladele bow out Johnson is new College Provost. The University of Ilorin has appointed two new Deputy Vice -Chancellors (DVCs). They are Professor. Gabriel Ademola Olatunji of the Department of Industrial Chemistry ,faculty of Physical Science (DVC, Academician) and Prof. (Mrs.) Nike Yetunde Sidikat Ijaiya of the Department of Educational Management (DVC, Research , Technology and Innovation). The DVC-designates, who were chosen at the 240th Special Get together @ the University. Senate last Tuesday (July 1, 2014), take over from Prof. Raheem Adebayo Lawal (Academic) and Prof. Felix Oladele (Research, Technology and Innovation), whose two-year tenure ended on Wednesday , June 18, 2014. The appointee are based on the University's Miscellaneous Provision of Edict No. 11, Section 5(a) of 1993 as amended by Decree No. 25 of 1996. Both appointments, which are for a period of two years, are however, subject to the ratification of the University Council . Also, a new Provost has been elected for the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. He is Prof. Wahab B. Rotimi Johnson, who, until now was the Dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences. He takes over from Prof. A. B. O. Omotoso, whose four-year tenure terminates on July 31. Welcome to the Administraion, Eunilorites Congratulates you.
