The University of Ilorin on Tuesday verbalized it had expelled three undergraduate students for internet fraud and larceny.
The institution withal reprimanded 40 other students of the institution for infringing the university’s dress code.
It verbally expressed Adeyemi Daniel Oluwaseyi of the Rudimental Medical Sciences was found guilty of unlawfully taking possession of ATM card and PIN belonging to another student while Mkperedom Olalekan Okon of the Arts Faculty was found guilty of internet-cognate fraud.
The report additionally verbally expressed that the 40 undergraduates, who were found guilty of breaching the institution’s obligatory habiliment, received vigorous warning and were asked to indite an undertaking to be of good comportment.
The students were directed to report to the Students’ Affairs Unit at 8:00 a.m. every Wednesday.
The compulsory apparel was one of the university’s measures to instil morals in students and staff.
According to a report in the university’s bulletin issued on Tuesday, four other students dragged afore the institution’s Students Disciplinary Committee for larceny were exonerated.
It verbally expressed two students, Fajimite Oluwafemi Ayomide and Ajayi Dorcas Oyiza of the Faculty of Communication and Information Science, incriminated of examination malpractice, were withal discharged and acquitted.
