2014/2015 Unilorin Post UTME/DE Full Guideline [Updated]

UNILORIN Post UTME screening exercise registration commenced on Sunday 13th July and end Wednesday 23rd July, 2014
The Pre-admission Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 21st to Saturday 26th July, 2014 using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres.
The deadline for the online registration is 23rd July, 2014. However, candidates awaiting results but who have registered on or before 23rd July, 2014 have the opportunity to submit their results online on or before 15th August, 2014 when the portal will be closed.
UNILORIN post UTME screening would be CBT…Also bear in mind that Unilorin is very good when it comes to disappointing student with their time tables and all that...I only said this for you to expect the unexpected. It's been posted; it might happen and it might not..But PREPARE!


Candidates Eligible for UNILORIN Post UTME

  • Scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2014 UTME for all courses except those for which higher cut off marks have been specified on the UNILORIN Cut-Off Marks for Various Courses  page;
  • Made the University of Ilorin their first choice either i.e the new JAMB system only accepts one choice for the exam...and;
  • Obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two sittings except in MB;BS where only one sitting is acceptable.

Below are the cut-off marks for various courses:

 

 UNILORIN Post UTME Registration Procedures

  1. Go to http://uilugportal.unilorin.edu.ng/putme_registration.php
  2. Type in your JAMB Registration Number and SURNAME in the boxes provided. Carefully type in your JAMB Registration Number as any error committed will not allow your details to be displayed.
Thereafter,
  • UTME candidates should click on the Get Details button for your JAMB information;
  • DE candidates should click OK button on the dialog box displayed and enter your names; and
  • Click on Make Payment link to go to WEBPAY page. The form costs just N3000 only. Note: UTME Candidates who are qualified for the course originally chosen can proceed to make payment by supplying the required information. However, UTME Candidates who are not qualified for the course originally chosen are advised to change their course as indicated on the payment page. Note the sum of N2,500 is charged for change of course.
  1. Make Payment
  • Select your ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card)
  • Enter your Card Number
  • Enter Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2  (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin; and
  • Then click on Pay.
Pls note:  (Do not Refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart again).
  1. After Login, click on Continue Registration Link on the main menu.
  2. Fill in your other bio-data and necessary details truthfully on the webpage. All candidates should upload their Passports by clicking on Browse button and select your picture. Your Passport must not be more than 20KB. Just use Microsoft Picture Manager to resize or use this link to resize without croping...Also you can send me the picture on facebook (/jimohib) or Whatsapp (08028511296) for a free resize.
  3. On completion of bio-data. click on Next Step button then click OK on the message dialog box.
  4. All DE candidates should complete the Institution of choice and click on Save then click OK on the message dialog box.
  5. On completion of choice of Institution click Next Step button.

    • Direct Entry candidates are required to select their Higher Academic Qualification(s) from the drop down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
    • To add more Higher Academic Qualifications click on qualifications drop down to select your additional qualifications click on save; and
    • Click on Next Step.
  1. All candidates (UTME and DE) are required to supply their O/L details as follows:
  • Pick Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
  • Enter all the required O/L details; and
  • Click on Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
  1. Click Scheduling Tab. All candidates must select a screening centre from the drop-down menu. Note an alert will be immediately sent to your e-mail and phone number provided in your bio-data.
  2. Click Print Tab to print out the following:
  • Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
  • Scheduling Slip; and
  • Payment Receipt.
Note: All candidates are expected to be at the screening centre an hour before their scheduled time and with the above printouts
Note
  • Candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed. Candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises
  • Phones and all other forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.
  • Only registered candidates for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.
